Haryana to issue property IDs for curb illegal occupation

Mumbai: Haryana government is planning to issue property IDs for curb illegal occupation and other unlawful, activities. These would be issued for properties lying in municipal corporations areas in Haryana where the government has recently conducted drone surveys.

A unique mechanism for registering properties in various controlled areas and regions has been developed through which NOCs (no objection certificates) would be issued by the local government departments concerned within the next few days. 

Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said the aim of taking these steps is to streamline the process of registering property deeds and cut requirement of human intervention to wherever absoluty necessary. 

There would be an increase of area to two kanals from exiting one care for registering them if they are located in controlled areas. 

In controlled areas, the department of town and country planning is creating a mechanism under which NOCs can be issued timely.
